Hello! I am Emily Edmondson, and I am looking forward to teaching your child this year. This will be my fifth-year teaching here at GHE. For my first three years, I taught fifth grade, and I am looking forward to an amazing second year in third grade. I majored in Early Childhood Education at the University of West Georgia for both my undergraduate and graduate degree. I also have my Autism Endorsement which I received from UWG. Go Wolves!
I was raised here in Carroll County where I attended Sharp Creek Elementary, Bay Springs Middle, and I graduated from Villa Rica High School. Go Wildcats! I still bleed purple and gold, and I love being able to teach in the same community I grew up in. You can still find me chanting the spirit song and cheering on our wildcats.
My husband, Brandon, and I live in Carrollton with our furry son, Hank. We attend Southern Hills, the church at City Station, and we love it. On the weekends you can find us spending time outdoors or watching football during the fall. I am looking forward to a wonderful year and having new students to love!
